All About Minecraft
Go to Minecraft Forge to download the mod loader that is exactly matches the Minecraft version you want to modify. We recommend you to choose the installer-win (Or installer if you use other OS) because it is more user-friendly.
Part 2: Install Mod Loader NOTE: Make sure that you have the right minecraft version downloaded to your computer prior to installing Mod Loader.
1. Open the installer and begin installing. Click on the Install Client and press OK.
2. The installer will start the process of patching versions and downloading any required libraries from the web.

3. When you launch the Minecraft launcher, you will discover that a profile called Forge is added into your profile list. You can remove the profile and then create your own profile and choose the Forge version manually.
Optional: You can remove your Forge profile and rename the version name to what you prefer. However this requires additional skills that I will not go into here.
Part 3: Install Mod 1. Open the .minecraft folder within your AppData and see if there is mods folder. If you don't find it, create one.
2. Google for mods! I am trying this Minimap mod. You must ensure that you have the right version of the mod installed, or it will not work!
Be aware that before installing any mod, ensure you have read the description, requirements, and help!
3. Cut/Copy and paste the mod (Usually in .jar file) into the mods folder in .minecraft.
Part 4 - Loading mods into game Start the Forge Minecraft Version. You will be presented with this screen. This screen should show the number of mods installed , plus 3 if it was installed correctly.
Note 1: You may find that multiple mods are not compatible if you attempt to install them all at the same time. To determine if there are any mods that are not compatible, make sure to check their mod page. Note 2 : It is recommended to install mods one by one to determine which one will cause a crash to the game. This will make it easier to fix the mod's issues.
