Rubber sheet is a versatile and very good flooring material that provides several good features. Apart from its high temperature resistance, durability, chemical resistance, fire resistance, easy cleaning and anti-slip quality, it has excellent sound conductivity and thermal insulation property as well. They have been extensively used in industries, as they are highly applicable in almost all environment without special requirements. Moreover, they can be easily cut and shaped according to requirements. Further, due to their excellent tensile strength and ability to resist extreme temperatures, they have found applications in several industries such as food and beverage industry, automotive industry, cement industry, marine industry, electronics industry etc.

Generally, sheet rubber is categorized into three forms viz. ultra light gauge, standard grade and specification grade. Ultra light gauged rubber sheet is frequently used for small-sized particles, while the standard grade is commonly used for large-sized particles. Specification grade is the most commonly used type of rubber sheet material, as it meets the requirements of most standards and is commonly used for different purposes. Among all the types of rubber sheet, the most commonly used ones are the following:

As it can effectively reduce friction and increase slip resistance, it is widely used for reducing noise and vibration at the same time. At the same time, rubber sheet rubber is flexible and elastic in nature, which increases its capability to carry any load. In addition, its anti-slip quality enhances its usability in various industries such as automotive, marine and food & beverage industry. Apart from these benefits, the sheet rubber is also flexible and cost effective in nature. Thus, it makes an excellent substitute for other materials such as steel and other non-flammable metals.
