Minecraft Launcher Wont Set Up From Microsoft Retailer

From Hikvision Guides
Jump to: navigation, search

I've tried installing Minecraft Launcher for days now, with no success. I've tried all the sometimes urged strategies (e.g. windows updates, wsreset, reregistering the shop, and so forth.).

I'm all the way down to the point the place I found out the place to seek out the logs to try to get some more *technical* assist.....

Symptoms:

* Downloading labored nice

* When on the Minecraft Launcher web page and clicking the "Install" button, nothing (!) occurs

* When within the library checklist, and clicking the "cloud" icon in the Minecraft Launcher row, it begins spinning for a while, then stops and reverts to the "cloud" icon

Trying at the logs, this is my total impression:

* There's an awful lot of "Error: The operation accomplished successfully.", which sounds a bit weird (although is probably okay)

* There is a bunch of "Error: Unknown HResult Error code: 0xefffffff"

* A single "Error: A specified logon session doesn't exist. It might already have been terminated."

* A bunch of "Error: Unknown HResult Error code: 0x89245104"

* A bunch of "Error: The parameter is incorrect." MINECRAFT SERVER LIST

Notes:

* I am a software program engineer myself (which is why after following a number of 20-steps-to-repair-microsoft-store or whatevers, I began to search for logs as a substitute), so some insights into how to fix these specific, obvious mentions of errors within the logs would be very much appretiated.

* I've included the complete logs from one try down below, and changed some stuff that sounded like account IDs etc. by REDACTED_FOR_Privacy

* Logs are retrieved from the Event Viewer

* If there's neighborhood assist Primarily based ON THE ERRORS FROM THE LOGS, that may after all be enormously appreciated, however I am pretty sure that at this level, the help should be from precise Microsoft staff, as a result of only they can have entry to the code (or no less than know who to contact, realizing software program engineers, they don't seem to be exposing themselves in any methods to finish users ;) )

* Precise home windows version is Microsoft Windows 10 Professional, construct Version 10.0.19044 Construct 19044

* Hardware is a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Excessive
