WRUP All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

From Hikvision Guides
Jump to: navigation, search

It's time to tell you a truth many MMO players don’t yet know: All DPS players can be categorized as sharks. You might be wondering why so many DPS are addicted to the mantra "GOGOGO" because slowing down for even an instant means they'll die. They must continue killing and swimming. This is the kind of thing MMOs can do to sharks. You don't need to ask what a shark does to play the game or type. The rogue who refuses to wait for the tank, healer, or any other DPS will do what he does. He's a shark.

One of the Massively staff members could be a shark, but I'm not able to confirm or say it is. Perhaps they will be revealing his or her status in this week's WRUP. Or maybe it's simply our usual roundup of our plans for the weekend. It's not clear until you read further, although you should share what you're doing down in the comments regardless.

@Beau_Hindman I'm definitely playing more State of Decay. It is a fantastic single-player game and easily one of my top games. For MMORPGs I'm experimenting with the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch of DC Universe Online, and I'll also be getting some action in Neverwinter, which I think is one of the most stunning and sounding MMOs out there right now.

@nbrianna: I went back to World of Warcraft with a group of guildies, so I'll be leveling some old toons as well as exploring some Pandaria dungeons that I've never played. It's sure to be fun!

@Eliot_Lefebvre @Eliot_Lefebvre World of Warcraft is currently my side game slot. Although there are some aspects that I'm not thrilled with, it's something I enjoy. Beyond that, I've got more Final Fantasy XIV questing and endgame snark that I would like to be a part of which is why that will be my main goal.

@Sypster - I don't have any big plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the pre-launch countdown mode of Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'm likely to play additional scenarios from The Secret World, and maybe even try some of the World of Warcraft stuff the youngsters are raving about these days.

@mvmatt: My plans for the weekend include schoolwork, soup and if I'm lucky -- some video games. Minecraft I'll be playing Warhammer Online to remind myself why I left it (and think about the things that almost forced me to stay) before the servers close next month. In addition I'd love to revisit Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. I've neglected these games for a while. Maybe, just maybe, I can stop some fools on Battlefield 4.

@MikedotFoster: This weekend, I'll be checking out the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also get returning to World of Warcraft; that Warlords of Draenor announcement has me excited again.

@MJ_Guthrie: I'm going to focus the majority of my gaming time (and I'll be playing whatever, sickness be darned!) trying to accomplish more in the battle against Filth in The Secret World. I want the pet and the bee suit so desperately that I don't know how to collect enough tokens. But I'll try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When I'm not working I'll be playing in a handful of scenarios and experimenting with new builds. I will also be spending the weekend trying to decide which race to make my own Channeler in EverQuest II. It's been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. After that, it'll take me about 30 hours to customise the style. Then there is the whole name thing...

@RichieProcopio This weekend, I'll be intoxicated. I'm not going on a frat party. I'll be visiting the Tower of Nightmares in Guild Wars 2 to see what Scarlet and her new serpentine friends have been up too in Kessex Hills. Oh yeah, and Hearthstone!

Each weekend, we meet with the Massively staff and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us for our games-related activities. You can also find us in the comments section and share your gaming experiences with us.
