Portforward.com offers assistance with port forwarding. There you can enter the make and model number of your router and the device/application/software you wish to forward. Dj W360 This website will then provide a step by step guide on how you can properly port forward your router.

After completing port forwarding, go to www.portchecktool.com to check if port 25565 is open. If it's open, you'll see the "Success!" message. message.

Step Four: Next, you will need to set up a way to keep No IP current with your dynamic public (external), IP address. There are many options for doing this.

First, you can download our free Dynamic Update Client. This client will need be running at all time at the network's locations. It will then check your IP address every 5 minutes and if your IP has changed, it will automatically update that change with No-IP.

You can also check whether a device in your network supports No IP for Integrated Dynamic DNS Updates. Some devices that include No-IP for Dynamic DNS are Routers or Camera systems. This will make it unnecessary to download the Dynamic Client.

Step Five: Once you are able to connect, you can invite your friends to do the same. Simply give them your hostname, along with the port number. For example, "hostname.domain.com:25565".
