Is Las Vegas Really A Gambling House

When politicians get together and make a gambling authority to oversee and track the casinos in Nevada, they inadvertently create one of the most significant abuse of power and greed that exists in the world today. Why do I say this? Well, because the Gambling Commission and the politicians that created the commission, did so to be able to protect the gaming industry from competition. Needless to say, the end result of this is obvious in the way in which the gaming industry operates.

Perhaps in retrospect, city and state leaders would also be better off if they had kept the Convention Center available and instead put on big events and putting all their hard-earned cash into a gambling facility which pays absolutely no taxation and pays small amounts for the use of their property in the middle of the largest city in the state. The cause of this is simple; there is no money in Macau, because Macau is bankrupt. The men and women who own the properties surrounding the Convention Center are only interested in using the tax money that comes in, to cover their own executives and rent out their property. This is exactly what is happening in Las Vegas, with the Clark County Recreation and Parks Department.

Now then, I want to go into detail about the legal aspects of gaming in Las Vegas, which is the first and main article. What I am about to tell you is extremely disturbing and shows the entire lack of integrity of politicians trying to pass laws that serve only the interest of particular interests. One example of this is the recently passed Gambling Law, also called House Bill 1080. For people who don't know, House Bill 1080 is a very controversial gaming bill that tries to impose a ban on internet gaming in Nevada.

It is important to note that the House Bill has already been signed into law and is now part of the State's Constitution. So, although it may have appeared as a gambling proposal, the true intent was to restrict online gaming at all Las Vegas casinos. Obviously, all casinos in Las Vegas compared the House Bill and even said so publicly. This was nothing new to me, and yet it is better to know what all of our elected officials consider your right to gamble.

In reference to this, I want to have a look at how gaming in vegas really works. When gamblers come to Las Vegas, they need to gamble at one of three casinos in the casino complex. The rest of the casinos are owned by someone else, making gambling in Las Vegas a very symbiotic relationship for both the casinos and the gamblers. The casinos earn money from gambling addicts, while the gamblers pay taxes, get their hotels and food lodging, and generally get a excellent deal for gambling. So long as that is happening, the politicians will never have any trouble passing ridiculous laws that serve only to benefit the gambling industry and hurt the rest of us.

Now then, why do I say all of this? Gambling is legal in most American cities, except for New Orleans. And yet there are lots of areas where it's illegal to gamble (including parts of Florida, where the legislation is probably not as strict). So it stands to reason that the average citizen in an Atlantic City, Las Vegas, or Jacksonville area doesn't have an extremely large amount of exposure to gaming, and therefore has no reason to be worried about it. Whereas 토토사이트 of a big northern city such as Toronto or Montreal would.

But that is my point: it is not the laws that regulate gambling that are bad. It is the politicians who pass these laws that are bad. That's my main article, but if you read the entire thing, you will find that I am not quite as harsh on the gambling community as I was ahead of publishing this article. In actuality, I actually support legalized gambling in vegas. And why I support it, I will tell you in a later article.

My main beef with gambling in general, and Las Vegas in particular, is that it degrades the value of your home and raises your property taxes. It decreases tourism, and it causes problems in other areas of government, such as urban planning. And, perhaps worst of all, it destroys family bonds, which is allegedly one of the goals of marriage in the beginning anyway. The only way that gambling should be legal in Las Vegas is if you're married to a casino employee and know nothing else about betting, or if your family owns a home in Las Vegas and you want to gamble with your cash.
