NEW YORK - September 8 2022Record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country received 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from the year before and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 that's an increase of 13% from 2019.

Already reaching the record-breaking numbers in 2019," he stated. "The United States is the leading market for Israel inbound tourism. It's a great positive shift that we are pleased to witness and expect an upward trend for years to be."

Canada which isn't too far behind the United States of America, is poised to surpass the number of tourists visiting Israel. It had 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 as well as 6,000 August.
