Nudity Laws Challenged By DriveThru Naturist

Nudity laws - In one episode he went through a fast-food drive-through with two other men, all of them naked. They went up to the window to pay, all sitting nude in the car, and then faked to look for their wallets inside their nonexistent pockets. The workers who saw them were described as troubled and worried. In the other event he was nude in a park and affected some people there as he wandered around. But during trial his lawyer Clayton Ruby, "indicated no real harm came to them [the witnesses], as they did not seek counselling."

In facing these charges, Coldin is fighting for his right to be unclothed and asserting Canada's laws as unconstitutional, exceedingly broad, and confusing. Canada's laws prohibit nudity when it "transgress(s) against public decency or order," without defining indecent. In addition Coldin is claiming that "the laws violate the charter because they restrict a [naturist's] right to free expression."
It is an interesting narrative of naturist activism, and I 've to admit the drive-through event is just a little funny. So Coldin demonstrates what occurs when you decide to ignore the laws on public nudity. But does he have a good argument? Should the laws be altered in order that naturists have the right to "liberty of expression"? You can find already other provisions against flashing and sexual behavior in public.
